Students swarmed through the University’s Earth Day celebration at the EMU, attracted by sunny afternoon weather, more than 20 energetic campus groups and environmental advocacy organizations, and the solar-powered music of local band Rare Monk. The group performed a diverse variety of tunes for the crowd of curious students sitting on the amphitheater steps – everything from their own high-powered, violin-fueled headbangers to a lilting cover of Bob Marley.
