Gender-inclusive hall in Carson offers unique housing option

Not much was happening this evening in the gender inclusive hall, but I got to bug students studying.

Roommates Sam Brazil and Csea Leonard chat while working on homework in their dorm room in the gender-inclusive dormitory of Carson Hall on Wednesday afternoon. Leonard identifies as queer and says the hall is a queer-friendly atmosphere. "We have a bit of a sibling relationship going on," said Leonard. "I'm more comfortable getting naked in my room around Csea than around my roommate last year," said Brazil. (Rachelle Hacmac/Oregon Daily Emerald)

Sun soaked weekend

After weeks of constant rain showers, students took advantage of the second straight day of spring-like weather around the UO campus. The lawn behind the Knight Library hosted a flag football tournament between fraternities. While the play was a little lackluster, it was good to see students out and about enjoying the sun.
