Women’s basketball falls at No. 25 Georgia Tech 87-69

The Ducks suffered their second loss of the season in Atlanta against the Yellow Jackets. Senior guard Micaela Cocks led the Ducks with 19 points, while junior forward Nicole Canepa added 14 of her own. Sophomore forward Amanda Johnson, scored just four points but had a team-high 8 rebounds. The Ducks struggled as a team with rebounding, gathering just 34 to the Yellow Jackets’ 53. Georgia Tech also pulled down a whopping 20 offensive rebounds, while the Ducks had just 8. Junior Guard Deja Foster led the Yellow Jackets with 21 points and also added 11 rebounds. The Yellow Jackets are now 7-2.
