Women’s Basketball Leads 45-27 at the Half

The Ducks hold an 18-point lead at halftime, but they have yet to click on offense. They are shooting only 38.7% from the field, and already have 12 turnovers. Free throws have been the difference, as the Ducks have hit 18 of 19 while Eastern Washington has attempted just five. Oregon has been aggressive on defense, forcing 15 turnovers with 8 steals, but their patented fast break offense is still a work in progress. Senior guard taylor Lilley has a game-high 13 points, while junior forward Nicole Canepa has a spark off the bench with 11 points and 5 rebounds.
