Ducks take second set by score of 25-16

The Ducks pulled away again in the second set, finishing with another 25-16 win to go up 2-0 in the match. The team looks much more confident tonight, and their serving is much improved over last night. They have only one service error and two service aces. Junior outside hitter Heather Meyers is off to another strong start with 8 kills and a .615 hitting percentage. Senior outside hitter Sonja Newcombe also has 8 kills to go along with 10 digs and a .280 hitting percentage. Arizona State, meanwhile, is hitting only .048 as a team and has not done a great job closing out sets.
