In a concurring opinion sent out today, new Constitution Court member Andrae Washington scolded Michelle Haley for the aspersions she cast on Emma Kallaway’s hiring practices in her grievance. The money quote:
I find it especially deplorable that Petitioner chose to allege meritless charges of discrimination simply to supplement her complaint. I find this troubling because the allegations themselves are apart of the public record. Any person alleging discrimination before the court needs to carefully articulate the issues in their complaint, because of the damaging implications of discrimination allegations.
In other words, Washington is saying Haley tried to drag Kallaway’s name through the mud on purpose by calling her prejudiced
