Oregon fan and alumnus asks Kelly for Boise State reimbursement…and Kelly obliges

The excellent college football blog EveryDayShouldBeSaturday.com broke the news today that Oregon head football coach Chip Kelly, in response to a fan’s letter and attached invoice for expenses incurred during a trip to Boise State for the Ducks’ 19-8 loss, sent a personal check for $439.

Anthony Seminary of Portland, a graduate of the class of 1996, returned the original check to Kelly but kept copies of the check for personal use. Sports information director Dave Williford was unavailable for comment.
