ASUO President Emma Kallaway was interviewed today by KEZI 9 about the $400,000 hole in ASUO reserves that resulted from last year’s incidental fee buydown. Kallaway told the Emerald a TV reporter who covered the buydown last fall was following up on the story. It will be interesting to see what perspective the piece takes and how the ASUO — and the previous executive — are portrayed.
ASUO Communications Director Curtis Haley, who is no stranger to KEZI, said the story will get a 40 second spot on the 5 p.m. newscast and 1:20 on the 6 p.m. newcast.
