Commentator squats at ASUO IntroDUCKtion table

Oregon Commentator Editor-in-Chief Drew Cattermole and publisher Dane Carbaugh moments ago were removed from the ASUO’s IntroDUCTion table in the EMU lobby.

Cattermole and Carbaugh said no one from the ASUO was there to provide information to incoming freshmen and their parents. They had two stacks of the Hate Issue on the table, as well as a few scattered condoms of the same brand as are distributed at the health center.

There was also a Commentator banner hanging over the table, and a copy of the Hate Issue clipped to the ASUO sign next to the table. Carbaugh said the empty table was incidental fee dollars at work, with no one from the ASUO bothering to do their jobs.

Then ASUO Programs Coordinator Julie Palanuk and Programs Administrator Conrad Hulen came and took the table back. Palanuk asked where the Commentator’s table was supposed to be.

“Oh, I don’t think we even have one,” Cattermole said.

    Removed?
Please, Robert. The Blonde Potato On Sticks showed up and finally started doing their job. We weren’t “removed” we got up and let them have their table.
Just like the Emerald to over-dramatize things.

Cleverly written though. Just right for Emerald readers.
