Ducks recruit Harris arrested in Fresno

Oregon recruit Cliff Harris, a four-star cornerback who could be in line to take over some playing time with Jairus Byrd’s NFL defection, was arrested at a Fresno, Calif., high school Wednesday for felony assault.

Harris’ brother refused to take off a red bandanna, violating the Edison High’s dress code, and reportedly pushed a security officer on the way to the office, and was pepper sprayed. When Harris came, he was pepper sprayed, as well.

Oregon head coach Chip Kelly had this to say in a media release: “We are aware of the allegations against Cliff Harris and are looking into the matter. We reserve any further comment until the legal process runs its course.”

Here is the story from the Fresno Bee.

  1. Have you found any good restaurants downtown? I’ve been to Sequoia Brewing, but no where else.

  2. Hey, I’m taking a quick poll. When did you first get to Fresno, and what was your first impression?
