8:23 : Because I have to take notes too, this really isn’t working. I’m going to switch back to Twitter.

8:22 : Gower is pretty mad about this

8:03 : The bifurcated legislature proposal would split the academic and finance senators into separate bodies.

8:02 : SDK mentions his bifurcated legislature proposal. Emma Kallaway’s response: I don’t understand, what are you talking about?

7:49 : The bill is passed through to the rules committee for further discussion.

7:47 : Soto volunteers her name as a sponsor to the resolution.

7:45 : Sam Dotters-Katz passes out a resolution in favor of the Tuition Equity bill.

7:44 : Gray: The senate still has $100 it raised for GripeFest, but didn’t use. What should it do with the money?

7:43 : Perley says the total amount in the Senate Surplus is $117,159.47.

7:42 : Kallaway’s announcement: The Senate Transition notebook will be replaced by a transition wiki.

7:39 : McCafferty gives his announcement and says Richard Lariviere’s response to a question about the size of the i-fee was: “I don’t know.”

7:33 : The request passes after a vote of 13-0-2. The abstainees are McCafferty and Bloom.

7:32 : Reid moves to give them the full $1892 amount. Deborah Bloom: “I really wish you guys did more on campus.”

7:30 : Kallaway encourages the JSA’s representative, Amitai Zuckerman to avoid coming to the Senate for amounts for any of the events that had funding transferred.

7:29 : The transfers are now done.

7:27 : Still line-item transfers. There are a tremendous number of them.

7:23 : They get a couple of line-item transfers done.

7:22 : There will also be an exhibit about American internment camps in the war (“Day Without Hate”).

7:16 : The Jewish Student Union is presenting on a request for money to cover the costs of an exhibit about American soldiers liberating concentration camps.

7:15 : It their request was approved. It was for $1,100.

7:14 : A copy of the special request is not on the internet, but request is for Hong Kong Night.

7:10 : Agenda approved. Now we are hearing a special request from HKSA!
