Unger update

Just caught up with ex-UO offensive lineman Max Unger, who returned to Los Angeles Saturday night after a week at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. He called the whole job interview one of the most stressful times in his whole life.
He ranked third in the combine for offensive linemen in the 20-yard shuttle and the 3-cone drill, and seems to have stuck himself back in the second round range for April’s draft.
He bench pressed 225 pounds 22 times, not a great number for offensive linemen, and it ranked around 13th.
All this is to say that he’s very tired, but can’t wait to get back to Eugene for March 12′s pro day.
If you want to read the full Q&A, check out tomorrow’s story in print and online and dailyemerald.com.
We’ll Twitter out the link, too.
