Women's Basketball, Oregon vs. Arizona: 1st Half

The Ducks fell down early, at 14-8 with 12:30 left to go in the first half, due to 8 points from Arizona forward Ify Ibekwe. However, Oregon recovered, and got within two at 14-12 on a hook shot from Taylor Lilley as the shot clock expired. Ibekwe answered right back on a post up with 9:45 left, to push the lead back to four points at 16-12.

Four minutes later, with 4:35 to play, Lilley put the Ducks up with a three pointer. The next two minutes saw the Wildcats and Ducks trade baskets. With 2:25 to play, Darriel Gaynor hit Ellie Manou in the post, and  the Australian scored the layup to put the Ducks up 23-21. They furthered that lead to 25-22 with 35 seconds, however Ibekwe kept the Cats close with a running jumper with 22 seconds left for the final margin of the half at 25-24. 

Ibekwe led the Wildcats with 13 points and seven boards. Manou had nine for the Ducks.
