Holiday Bowl Third Quarter: OSU 24, UO 28

7:15: Thurmond runs back the kickoff of the second half 91 yards to the OSU 3 yard line, and Masoli rushes in for 1 yard TD two plays later. OSU 17, UO 14. Showing some life? We’ll see when they get back on defense.

7:20: Quick INT by Jairus Byrd on the Ducks’ 1-yard line gives the ball back to UO at their own 40. They moved to the OSU 48 on a third down conversion to Terence Scott. After a near-pick six by Oklahoma State on a pass to the left flat, Perrish Cox of OK State did it for real, giving OK the ball at their own 35. They punted, no harm done.

7:39: Ducks force another fourth down punt by OK State.

7:40: TD by Jeremiah Masoli on a 40-yard touchdown run where he ran over Quinton Moore the safety en route to the touchdown. Wasn’t even touched after his run-over job of Moore, and for good reason. A little Tebow impersonation.

7:47: OK State putting together a drive that had a third-and-7 at the UO 45 that Robinson converted up the middle for 16 yards.Robinson found Damian Davis for 25 yards up the sideline to the four, and Kendall Hunter scored the next play. OSU 24, UO 21

7:56: Oregon got the ball, then turned it over on a lateral behind Jeff Maehl recovered by OSU corner Ricky Price at the Oregon 41. Then OK punted the ball after not converting on third down on a four yard loss sack by Ra’Shon Harris.

Oregon took five plays to then go down the field and score, a 17-yard run by Masoli toward the back right of the end zone. It looked like everyone focused on Johnson on the handoff, when Masoli kept it.
