Kelly agrees to $7 million deal for five years

Offensive coordinator Chip Kelly, announced Oregon’s football coach in-waiting Tuesday, has agreed to a deal worth $7 million over five years Thursday when his agent met with athletic director Pat Kilkenny. 

The Oregonian and Register-Guard have reported the deal will be worth $1.25 million his first and second year at the minimum, while he stands to make $1.5 million minimum in his third year. 

Mike Bellotti made nearly $2 million last season.
