The Oregon women started slow, but built a 15-10 lead behind six kills from junior middle blocker Neticia Enesi in that stretch. After a brief run by the Cougars to pull within three points at 18-15, the Ducks flexed their muscles, going on a 8-0 run to put the game away 25-15.
Overall, Enesi finished the set with eight kills and a scorching .889 hitting percentage. Senior All-American Gorana Maricic also had 5 kills for the Ducks.
Oregon, who is 8-4 in conference and 20-5 overall, looks to dispatch of the Cougars (7-17 overall, 0-13 Pacific-10 Conference) for their 12th straight win at home this season.
