Final: Oregon 35, Stanford 28

Jeremiah Masoli led an 11-play, 74-yard drive with 2:18 left in the fourth quarter as Oregon scored on a LeGarrette Blount touchdown run with six seconds left for the win, which leaves the Ducks 7-3 overall and 5-2 in conference play.

Stanford drops to 5-5 and 4-3 overall.

Here’s my sidebar on how Masoli played today, which was at times uneven and at others impressive. What he didn’t do was let Oregon lose, however, and his 25-yard scramble on third-and-eight gave the Ducks first and goal at the Stanford 8-yard line with just over 30 seconds left in the game.

The Ducks ran for more than 300 yards again tonight, the sixth time in 10 games the Ducks have done that. Jeremiah Johnson broke the 100-yard rushing barrier for the third time this year, after rushing for 131 yards, including a 41-yard dash with just over four minutes left in the second quarter.
