Even higher: Volleyball jumps to No. 6
For the second straight week Oregon’s volleyball team received its highest ranking in program history, rising one spot to No. 6 in the nation in Monday’s CBS College Sports Network / AVCA Coaches Poll. Oregon beat then-No. 24 Oregon State in three sets on Sunday. The ranking is business as usual for the Pac-10 conference as a whole, with six of the top 12 teams in the country coming from the Pac-10. Those teams are No. 4 Stanford, No. 5 California, No. 6 Oregon, No. 7 Washington, No. 10 UCLA and No. 11 USC. Oregon State slipped one spot to No. 25.
