First week linkage

Let’s wrap up the ODE coverage of this week.

Here’s a piece from Wednesday about Seth Ford, a football manager who might be the team’s biggest inspiration since he started eight years ago.

Both of Oregon’s cross country teams are ranked No. 1 this year. Do they feel the pressure? Robert Husseman found out.

Oregon volleyball is ranked in the top 15 in the nation — and it’s still the sixth best team in the conference. Ben Schorzman reported about ten things you probably didn’t know about Pac-10 volleyball.

Women’s soccer is out on the road this weekend in the Sooner State.

Soccer also had the Daily Emerald Athlete of the Week in Kirstie Kuhns.

Last but not least, can Oregon football still win the Pac-10 title? Kevin Hudson thinks so.
