The excellent college football blog EveryDayShouldBeSaturday.com broke the news today that Oregon head football coach Chip Kelly, in response to a fan’s letter and attached invoice for expenses incurred during a trip to Boise State for the Ducks’ 19-8 loss, sent a personal check for $439.

Former UO President Myles Brand Dies at 67
Current NCAA president and former University of Oregon president Myles Brand died today of pancreatic cancer. He succumbed after a year-long fight with the disease.
