It was only fitting that Newcombe ended this set with a kill. The outside hitter is carrying the Ducks in this match, and she now has 19 kills to go along with 10 digs and a .327 hitting percentage. Rourke now has 28 kills, but totaled only 5 in the third set. Now, the Ducks just have to close this match out. Of course, that’s easier said than done against this hungry Beaver team.
