PCC buys Willamette Building
The Portland Business Journal reported Friday that Portland Community College bought the University’s former Portland headquarters.

Another meet, another school record goes down, but would you have expected it to me the women’s 100m hurdles record? Brianne Theisen ran 13.56 in the first preliminary heat to break Lexie Miller (Beck)’s 1981 record of 13.67. Theisen, who qualified for tomorrow’s final, only finished fourth in a very fast heat.

Roper to transfer from UO football, tells eDuck
The Web site eDuck is reporting this morning that quarterback Justin Roper has been released from his scholarship and intends to transfer away from Oregon.
Roper won the 2007 Sun Bowl after injuries to Dennis Dixon, Ryan Leaf, Nate Costa and Cody Kempt forced him into duty and started the 2008 season against Washington before injuries [...]
