Buses to be rerouted for marathon
Here’s a schedule of them that LTD sent me. Now I pass the information on to you. Use it wisely:
Saturday, May 2, 7:30 a.m. to approximately 9 a.m. during the 5K and Kids Run
Route 1 Campbell Center and Route VRC/Coburg Road: These routes will not serve the Campbell Center area north of 5th Avenue between Mill Street and Pearl Street. Regular service will resume at approximately 9 a.m.
Route 51 Santa Clara: This route will not serve Washington Street between 5th Avenue and 1st Avenue. Regular service will resume at approximately 9 a.m.
Sunday, May 3, beginning at 7 a.m. during the Eugene Marathon and Half Marathon
EmX: EmX will not serve EmX Stations between High Street Station and Walnut Station and will travel from the Eugene Station along I-105 and I-5 to the Lexington Station in Glenwood and to the Springfield Station. Buses to Eugene from the Springfield Station will provide service to the McVay Station and will continue on to I-5 and I-105 to the Eugene Station. Regular service will resume at approximately 11 a.m. However, delays can be expected.
Route 13 Eugene Station: This route will not serve Centennial Blvd. between Rainbow Drive and Pioneer Parkway. Regular service will resume at approximately 12 p.m.
Route 18 Springfield Station: This route will not serve Mill Street from Centennial Blvd. to A Street, including A Street. Regular service will resume at approximately 12 p.m.
Route 25 Amazon and Route 25 Eugene Station: These routes will travel as far as the Amazon Station and will not serve East Amazon or West Amazon between the hours of
7:55 a.m. and 10 a.m. Service will resume at approximately 10 a.m.
Route 73 UO/Willamette: This route will not serve Patterson Street between 18th Avenue and 24th Avenue, and Hilyard Street between 18th Avenue and 30th Avenue, between the hours of 7:55 a.m. and 10 a.m. Regular service will resume at approximately 10 a.m.
Route 98 Cottage Grove: The 8:33 a.m. departure from the Eugene Station will not serve Franklin Blvd.; instead the bus will provide service along 13th Avenue to the University of Oregon before continuing on to I-105 and I-5 to Cottage Grove.
