First up for the Bulldogs, Grubb. He takes the first pitch for a ball, 1-0. The second ball is up, 2-0. Anderson’s third pitch to Grubb is low and outside, 3-0. The fourth pitch is high, ball four. Man on first, no outs.
BREAKING NEWS: $6 beers in Fowl Territory. Bud Lite and Budweiser. That’s ridiculous, but people are buying them. Just in case you wanted to drop by Fowl Territory this season, thought you should know. The hot dogs, however, are $2 this season. Can’t beat that.
OREGON up. SEVENTH INNING STRETCH. Don Essig is singing.

Robinson up, 1-2 count as Anderson puts one too far outside for ball two. 100 pitches in, he’s still looking very sharp. Impressed with his location today and command. He hasn’t put himself in trying situations, either. Full count and he grounds to KC Serna, who flips it to Pulfer who can’t get it out of his glove in time for the double play. Man on first. No error, ruled as a fielder’s choice.
Hom grounds to Anderson first pitch, who throws to first for the out after looking down at second for a while. Two outs.
Vivas up, 2-for-2 today. Strong pitch to get back to 2-1. Good changeup fools Vivas, 2-2 which puts some fire into the student section, which fires up the rest of the crowd. Strikeout for Vivas, and the students got that one started, we’ll have to say.
OREGON up. Seventh inning stretch, and Don Essig is singing.

Jett Hart up, first pitch strike, second pitch strike swinging. No. 3 is a ball in the “dirt” here at PK (it’s all synthetic grass, even the “dirt”) and Hart goes down swinging. Two outs in a quick inning.
Darrell Hunter up and he’ll try to stay in the box a little longer this time…but it lasts three pitches, and a groundout. Three outs, no runs, no hits.
