Comedy moment: I think we’ve been over that
Fashion watch: Sen. Liddy Soto (Seat 14, Social Studies) turned up in full rugby kit, complete with spandex pants and one of those leather helmets Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech gets so much stick for wearing. I was also pretty impressed with the used car salesman look of Johnny Delashaw’s jacket.
Face in the crowd: Michelle Haley, EMU Board Chair, was here, but strangely silent when the Perley grievance was brought up.
Who didn’t show up: Senate Pres. Alex McCafferty (Seat 7, ACFC) was said to have a stomach problem and couldn’t attend. Yesterday he told me he had the sniffles. That is one sick man. Too bad he wasn’t on hand to speak about what happened with the Seat 19 hiring committee. Sen. Arielle Reid (Seat 6, EMU Board) was also absent.
Most important moment: Johnny Delashaw appeared annoyed throughout and his promise to veto the Survival Center’s request is the first time I’ve heard the v-word used in such a concrete sense. But, from the look of things, maybe not the last.
