Thunder God

In lighter ASUO news, I found the article about Sam Dotters-Katz in this recent issue of the Comic Press very funny. The last couple paragraphs of this article in particular are a stroke of comic genius .

And the article’s not just funny either. The article uses hyperbole to explore Dotters-Katz’s persona and character in a way concerns of “editorializing” prevent print newspapermen from doing. It’s not actually that far off from the impressions he has made on many of my friends and colleagues.

I was unimpressed with the CP’s early issues, back when it was still called “The Weekly Enema,” especially the editing. Now, though, it’s very well done.

Alex,

Thank you for the kind words! It’s been an exciting journey going from ‘The Weekly Enema’ to ‘The Comic Press’ and I’ve loved every minute of it. I’m glad you enjoy reading.

The new issue comes out today. Stop by the EMU courtyard between 12 and 4 and say hi! I’d love to put a face to a name.
