Epilogue: The Holiday Bowl next day

Holiday Bowl 4th Quarter: OSU 31, UO 35
Sorry for the delay. A lot of scoring here. Zac Robinson scored on a 1-yard dive to make it 31-28 with 12:13 left in the game. This one is everything it was billed, it’s been a good show so far.

7:15: Thurmond runs back the kickoff of the second half 91 yards to the OSU 3 yard line, and Masoli rushes in for 1 yard TD two plays later. OSU 17, UO 14. Showing some life? We’ll see when they get back on defense.

Holiday Bowl 2nd Quarter: OSU 17, UO 7
5:59: Oregon went for a fourth-and-3 situation and didn’t make it on the Masoli keeper up the middle. The Ducks spread out four receivers and left Masoli alone in his backfield to fend for himself, but even the Ducks’ vaunted offensive line couldn’t push through. OK State took over at their own 43-yard line.

SAN DIEGO — Well here we are, a day later than expected but inside the friendly confines of Qualcomm’s press box anyway.
Current temperature: Somewhere in the mid-60’s.
Press box fare: Nothing for free — the first pay for food box I’ve been in this season. A definite thumbs-down from this college reporter.

Saint Mary's vs. Oregon: 2nd Half
Oregon saw Saint Mary’s lead grow to 10 points with 17:25 left in the game after Carlin Hughes hit a three on a pass from Patrick Mills. Then Diamon Simpson posted up and hit a layup to push the lead to 49-37 with 17:10 to go.
