Perusing for Pumpkins

I hadn’t been to a pumpkin patch since my freshmen year of college and thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Thistledown Farm Saturday. There my date and I took a wagon ride out to the pumpkin field with a group of young families, looped through a corn maze, petted mules, bought fresh produce and drank homemade apple cider. I came home with two pumpkins and two gourds that now decorate a corner of my bedroom.

Savor Oregon’s beautiful golden scenery and give yourself a break from midterms. Indulge in autumn traditions during the next few weeks. The following pumpkin patches and corn maze lie within 20 minutes of the University.
